Which types of mortars can be sprayed using Kalar company machines?
  • Sand and cement mortar with particle size up to 06 and standard mix design
  • Types of fireproof (fire-resistant) mortars
  • Grout injection and grouting
  • Pumping cement-based mortars and polymer-modified gypsum mortars
  • Pumping EPS concrete for dry wall applications

Yes. Depending on the required flow rate and time constraints, the machines can also be used for pumping and conveying materials.

Depending on the type and mix design of the material, mortar can be conveyed and sprayed up to 50 meters.

Why does mortar get stuck in the hose?

The mortar mix design should be adjusted according to the instructions.

When the mortar output becomes intermittent and reduced.

When the rotor diameter has worn down to below 41 mm.

If the red light is on, the following conditions may occur:
a) The phases are reversed, which can be resolved by turning the main switch in the opposite direction.
b) One of the phases is disconnected; the incoming power supply to the device should be checked.
c) The voltage drop is more than 10%.
In this case, the power grid or generator should be checked and the fault resolved.

If neither the green nor the red light turns on, the neutral input is disconnected.

One of the following conditions may have occurred:

a) Excess load has been applied to the motor, which must be removed.
The cause of this issue is either an improper mix design or wear of the rotor and stator.

b) One of the phases is not reaching the motor. The electrical path should be checked through the contactor, terminals, and wire connectors.

c) The contactor or bimetal overload relay is faulty and must be replaced.

d) The bimetal overload relay is not matched to the motor’s current rating.

The mixer belt is loose or worn out.

a) The compressor is sending a shutdown signal.
In this case, check the air pressure switch.

b) The machine cover microswitch is not engaged.

One of the following four conditions may have occurred:

a) The pump belt is loose.
b) One of the power transmission bolts is broken.

c) The motor is partially burned out.
